Chapter one

~Naruto~

“Damn I’m going to miss the bus!” The blond teen shouted as he ran down the street toward the bus station. “Why did I stop for that ramen I knew I didn’t have the time yet I still…” The boy yelled again. People on the street were starting to stare at him since he kept shouting no one.


“Naruto!” Yelled a familiar voice from up ahead. There standing next to the entrance of the bus station was Iruka a father like figure to Naruto. Iruka had been helping Naruto out a lot since they met when he was only six. Iruka stood there his brown hair wet. He had on a pair of regular blue jeans and a gray shirt both wet. Naruto jogged up to Iruka panting from the run.

“Why are you wet?” Naruto asked after he caught his breath.

“Because it’s raining, you’re wet too Naruto.” Iruka said with a smile that almost said –what an idiot- Naruto looked down and felt his hair.

“Oh… I guess I was more worried about missing the bus then the weather.” Naruto said as they walked into the station together. Naruto pulled out his bus ticket that was surprisingly still dry out of his wet orange pants.  He walked up to the front desk, he looked at the ticket then at the lady who was fussing with the computer.

“Umm did bus 5 already leave?” Naruto asked as the women looked up. She gave him the one minute figure and typed slowly into her computer. After what seemed like hours but only minutes she looked up.

“No it was delayed. We had to call in a new driver. The bus should be departing in a few minutes. If you go through the left doors it should take you to it.” She answered in the sweetest tone she could then looked back at her computer.

Iruka put his hands on Naruto’s shoulders. Naruto looked up and meet his gray eyes.

“You be careful don’t let anything they say get to you okay.” Iruka said to him as he gave him a departing hug. Naruto nodded.

“You don’t need to worry about me Iruka. I’ll be just fine.” Naruto said as he returned the hug. They let go of each other and Naruto stepped up onto the bus. He looked back at the almost teary father figure he is leaving behind. Naruto waved goodbye and continued onto the bus.  

"Don't forget to write me Naruto!" Iruka yelled after him. Naruto turned and wink then continued.

“Why they let Naruto into that school is amazing to me. But I guess he has grow a lot over the past few years” Iruka thought to himself as the bus started to move.


The bus ride seemed like forever but finally after many bored hours Naruto was at his stop. Naruto jumped off the bus and looked up at his new home. Standing before him was a tall wooden gate he felt like he was going to prison then school.

“You must be Naruto?” Naruto took his eyes off the gate to see who said his name. There standing at the front of the opened gate was a tall woman who could pass to be twenty. She had rich blond hair and brownish to a green eyes. She had on a gray shirt that showed off her huge breasts, with a pair of blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

“Umm yea I’m Naruto and you are?” Naruto answered with a question. She smiled and looked Naruto over before replying.

“I’m Tsunade also the Principal of this school. Now follow me so we can get you settled into your place before taking you to class.” Tsunade said as she turned on her heals and walked back through the gate. Naruto picked up his bag and ran to catch up with her. As they walked down a street Naruto keep glancing around and taking in his surroundings. The school looked more like a village. There were small houses side by side all the way down the street. Tsunade saw the confusion on Naruto’s face and started to explain.

“This side is the housing for the students there is a few houses set up for teachers and people who work in the food shops set up on the other side. You can also buy the things you need and to work. You are supposed to find a job or the school will appoint one to you weather it's in that area or at the any of the schools. A lot of the older students drive the extra miles to the nearest town and to get a job and also to get away so there are plenty of jobs open in that area. The School builds are split up into three sections the Elementary, Jr. High, and High School.

The high school is on the other side of the park to your left, there is a path that leads through and around the park since a lot of people tend to fear walking through the park at night. The Jr. High is in the middle which is a few more blocks straight. Last the Elementary is to your right a few blocks.” She Explained while turning down a few streets then stopping at a small apartment much like the other’s this one was a little bigger then the one’s at the front it was a deep rich brown with a small front and back yard. She walked up to the front door stuck the key in twisted the handle and pushed the door open.

“This is where you will be living while you are here. Since your going to be a freshman you will live here alone. Is that okay with you?” She said as she ushered him into the house.

“Yea that’s fine.” Naruto replied as he made his way around the house. The house/apartment was bigger on the inside then it looked on the outside. The living room had already a TV and a black futon leading out of the living room was the kitchen that had all the appliances needed also in the kitchen was a sliding back door that leads out into the small back yard. Moving back toward the living room there was a small door to the right that lead down a hall way were the bedroom and the bath room was. His room was spaces with a nice queen sized bed with nice white sheets on it. Naruto’s stuff had already been placed along side the bed. Naruto sat his bag down on the bed and walked back out of the room to where Tsunade waited.

“So do you like?” Tsunade asked when Naruto came back into the living room and found her resting on his futon.

“Yeah it’s great.” Naruto said as he still eyed the place. Tsunade smiled then stood back up.

“Okay well since school has started for the morning why don’t you settle in and I’ll come or either have someone come by and get you for lunch and afternoon classes. How’s that sound?” Tsunade said as she headed towards the door.

“Sounds great.” Naruto answered as she opened the door.

“Great so I’ll see you in about two hours unless i get tied up at that moment.” Tsunade said as she shut the door behind her leaving Naruto all alone.

Naruto had finished packing so he took a shower since he hadn’t had one that morning from the thought of missing the bus. Then he changed into a pair of blue jeans and a black and orange shirt with white tennis shoes. He was about to sit down and relax and watch some TV but the knock at the door told Naruto that the two hours were up.

Naruto opened the door and there stood two people that looked to be about the same age. The first was a girl who had long raven hair and crystal clear eyes. She wore a purple and white jacket and what looked like fish net under the jacket with a pair of black jeans and brown boots. The other person had short black hair and black bushy eye brows his eyes were a deep brown. He had on a white muscle shirt with a green vest his pants where also black but very tight fitting. He had on a pair of green tennis shoes.

“I’m Hinata and this is Lee. Tsunade said she had been pulled into a meeting so she couldn’t come but she wanted to give you this because she forgot it the first time.” The girl said and handed Naruto a white sheet of paper. “It’s your schedule what time your classes are and where.” Naruto nodded as he glanced over the paper. “Umm well we had better get going the walk isn't to far but you don't want to miss classes.”

“Oh… yeah.” Naruto said as he looked up from the paper he turned and grabbed the key off the TV. Hinata and Lee took the led as Naruto closed his door until he heard the lock click shut. Then jogged up behind them, Lee slowed his pace to match Naruto’s.

“So where did you transfer in from?” Lee asked aloud Hinata looked back at them.

“Oh I came from suba, its hours from here.” Naruto answered as he looked around still amazed about this place he ended up in. Lee laughed and patted him on the back as a small pain run through his shoulder. Naruto looked up at Lee who was a few inches taller than him and smiled lightly. They kept walking and soon entered the park. The surrounding now changed dramatically as they made there way down the path they entered what looked more like a forest. After a minute of walking they came out into a clearing where a huge pond sat with benches a few feet away from the bank. As they past the pond and reentered the trees Naruto saw a figure standing on the other side of the pond. It was fait but he could tell it was a human.

He figured it was just another student and let it go as he followed his new friends down the path and out of the forest/park. There sitting in front of him was a large building student’s hurried along some stopped at the new face. Chills ran up and down Naruto’s spin and he gulped. –How did I get I into a school like this? Will I really be alright like I told Iruka?- Question and doubtfulness fled into him as he stared up at the large school building and the people that had now stopped and looked.

Hinata took Naruto’s wrist and started to walk dragging Naruto along. Soon Naruto snapped back to reality and started to walk so Hinata let go a light pink flushed over her face. They entered the building and stopped. Lee looked at Naruto and smiled.

“Don’t worry you’ll be fine. Now let me see your schedule I didn’t look to see what class you were in.” Lee said as held out his hand. Naruto shifted through his pockets until he found it and placed it in Lee’s hands. Lee looked it over and handed it to Hinata. She took a few minutes to look at it and smiled as she handed it back to Naruto.

“I have two classes with you in the morning. Then we have an hour off for lunch. Then I have only one class with you in the afternoon.” Lee said as he scanned the people that were walking in through the door.

“I have no classes with you in the morning then I have three classes with you in the afternoon.” Hinata said as she scanned the people as well. Naruto looked confused because they were both talking to him but looking off in opposite directions.

“K-Kiba!” Hinata yelled and waved someone over. A guy with dark brown hair that looked like he didn’t have the time to brush it this morning walked over. He had on a grayish sweat shirt with blue jeans and white tennis shoes. He nodded at Hinata.

“Hey Hinata what’s up?” Kiba asked as he gaze glided over to Naruto.

“Umm… T-this i-i-is N-naruto.” Hinata stuttered as she turned to Naruto. “I believe he has a few classes with you so I was hoping you could help him around the school.” Hinata said the whole time looking at Naruto. Kiba grinned.

“Sure babe I’ll do that for ya.” Kiba said to Hinata. Hinata’s face went red.

“Let me see your schedule Naruto.” Kiba said as Hinata turned away to not show that she was blushing. Kiba smiled at Hinata from behind as Naruto flipped his schedule back out and handed it to Kiba. He looked the paper over for a few seconds then smiled.

“Okay you have my next class so I’ll take you there. Come on bye Hinata see ya around.” Kiba said as he turned and walked away Naruto following close behind. Kiba looked at Naruto. “You’ll like this school yea there’s a bunch of totally pricks but other than that there are a lot of cool people here.” Kiba said as they turned down the hall way and stopped at a door. He motioned for Naruto to stay there as he walked in and got the teacher. They both walked out and Kiba handed him Naruto’s schedule. The teacher looked it over.

“Ah your Naruto it’s great to meet you I’m Hatake Kakashi you may call me Kakashi. Please wait right here for just a second.” The Kakashi said as he walked back into the room Kiba followed and took his seat in the back.  

“Everyone we have a new student in this class so please welcome him kindly. You may come in now.” The Kakashi announced.
